* Correct homework: Need some Ideas

- It was a day. The alarm rang. I jumped out of bed and got dressed. I put on a pair of pants and a shirt. I added some socks and shoes, and then I was almost ready to leave. I drank some juice in a cup and ate a piece of toast. I hurried out the door to go to school. I ran to my class in a building on the campus. There were students in my class. I sat next to one. I wrote in my notebook and on the board. I looked at my books, pens, and pencils. Later, I got paper and paint from the cupboard to make a project. The teacher gave us homework. After school, I walked home through the neighbourhood. The boys yelled to me. I went into my house to do my homework. I finished it two hours. I played with the kids until dinner.

* Topic: Adjective or Adverb

* Objective lesson: While many adverbs end in -ly, some adjectives do also! Student will practice distinguishing between the adjectives and the adverbs.

* Reading: Tola: All''–ly'' words are not created equal! Some people see an ''–ly'' ending on a word and think that it’s an adverb. That’s because many adverbs do end in–ly. But be careful. An ''–ly'' ending can also be found on some adjectives. How do you tell the difference? An adverb often describes a verb, while an adjective often describes a noun.

* Classwork: Reach reads:

- Read each sentence. Circle the ''–ly'' word. Decide whether it is an adverb or an adjective. Write the appropriate term on the line following the sentence.

+ Example: No one wanted to live by the smelly landfill. smelly is adjective because it modifies or describes a noun ''landfill''.
